Auditions
Auditions are held in Spring for the following season. Boys between the ages of 8 and 11 are invited to audition with one of our directors. No experience is necessary. If you love to sing and you meet the vocal requirements of the program you will receive an invitation to join. Participation in the program requires a one-year commitment by all boys who attend. We have three campuses throughout Houston. You will be able to rehearse at the one that is nearest to you. Once a month all divisions meet at St. Martin's Episcopal Church for a workshop day to practice singing together.
The audition consists of: a demonstration of vocal range and ability to match pitch; an ability to repeat rhythmic and musical patterns as dictated; and a brief interview to discover the boy’s interests.
Each member is required to pay an annual tuition which is supplemented by generous donations from our community. Payment plans and scholarships are available. No child is turned away because of an inability to pay.
