Houston Boychoir is on a mission to build men of character through music. We believe every boy who wants music in his life should have access to it. We provide a safe place for boys to gather and share their love of singing while learning to be exemplary performers and outstanding citizens of Houston and beyond.

It is well-documented that children who participate in choral programs experience a positive impact on their development and growth. Members of a choir are equipped with the skills to flourish in the world as honorable citizens and professionals. In addition to providing an exemplary music program and developing a lifelong love of the arts, boys experience improvement in their vocabulary and language, increased motor skills, improved listening skills, self-confidence, self-discipline, and enhanced social skills. Weekly rehearsals allow boys to grow up together and form lasting friendships with boys from outside their day-to-day lives.

Our touring choirs enjoy the opportunity to experience a world beyond their communities. For some, this is their first time leaving home and traveling to perform. They perceive life from a different point-of-view and return with open minds.
