Why we tour

Tour is the culmination of a year’s worth of musical and personal growth. The experience challenges boys to apply the skills they have developed throughout the year, including leadership, responsibility, adaptability, and teamwork, in new and unfamiliar settings.

As they travel together, choristers learn greater independence while developing a deeper appreciation for cultures, places, and people beyond their own experience. They learn to care for one another, to lead by example, and to navigate both successes and challenges with maturity and grace.

For many boys, tour becomes one of the most transformative experiences of their time in Houston Boychoir. It is where lifelong friendships are strengthened, confidence grows, and young men discover the character, integrity, and resilience that will serve them long after their final concert.
