At the entry level of Houston Boychoir, the Preparatory Choir lays a strong foundation for vocal development and musical knowledge. Through weekly rehearsals, workshops and performances, music literacy skills and artistry are honed. As boys work together toward common goals, they cultivate lasting friendships and a strong sense of belonging.
Highlights of the Preparatory Choir season include three major performances, national anthem performances at local sporting venues like Toyota Center, Daikin Park, and NRG Stadium; and a day trip every May.
