My Story
Ms. Henjum has supported the Houston Boychoir since 2004, as a parent of two choristers, as an officer of the Friends of Houston Boychoir, and currently as the Executive Director. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Mathematics and worked for IBM for 30 years. Ms. Henjum sings in the choir at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and is the Assistant Children's Supervisor of the Student Program for the Houston. – Clear Lake Day Women’s Class of Bible Study Fellowship, International. She resides in League City with her husband and HBC Advisory Board member, Wendell Mendell. Their two sons, John and Mark, are former choir members and sing regularly with the Men of the Houston Boychoir.
What a special gift it was for the Chamber Choir to sing for their son (and former chorister) Mark's wedding in October 2022!
